During Production Inspection
Also known as In-Process Inspection, it can be done when 5%~10% of production is finished. If we can find problems at early production stage, it will give your supplier more time for rework and correction. It will cause less delay and helps you supervise if the production is on schedule or not.

Real Case: Catching Deviations Mid-Production
The Challenge
A buyer ordered 500 pieces of hydraulic cylinder parts from a factory in Hefei. Since these components require extreme precision for high-pressure systems, waiting until final shipment to check quality would be too risky. The goal of this DPI was to verify that the ongoing production line was maintaining the required tolerances.
Our Discovery
Our inspector intervened during the manufacturing process to perform a technical audit of the active batch:
Precision Monitoring: We utilized CMM testing to verify that critical dimensions, such as Dia. 4.997-4.999”, remained stable during mass production.
Surface Consistency: We conducted Ra 63 testing on semi-finished parts to ensure the sealing surfaces met the specified roughness before moving to the next stage.
Process Control: Verified Material Certificates and checked the Go/No-Go Gauge results for hydraulic holes and thread holes to ensure the tooling was still accurate and not worn out.
The Verdict
Production Process Verified. By inspecting mid-way, we confirmed that the factory’s setup was producing parts to exact specifications. This proactive approach allowed the buyer to proceed with the rest of the order with confidence, knowing that no systemic defects were present in the 500-piece batch.

Real Case: Mid-Production Quality Check
The Challenge
A client needed to verify the quality of 500 hydraulic cylinder parts in Hefei while they were still on the production line to prevent batch-wide errors.
Our Discovery
Our inspector conducted a live technical audit of the active production process. We utilized CMM testing to ensure critical dimensions like Dia. 4.997-4.999” were being consistently met, and performed Ra 63 testing to verify surface sealing quality. By checking Thread Go/No-Go Gauges and Material Certificates mid-production, we confirmed the factory’s technical consistency, ensuring the final batch would be defect-free before it even reached the packing stage.
The Verdict
Proactive Risk Mitigation. We provided real-time data to confirm production accuracy, saving the buyer from potential delays and ensuring the high-precision requirements were strictly followed.
